International Workshop on Laser Science (IWLS) will be held at University of Electro-Communications (UEC) on Oct. 5-6, 2012. It is composed of invited speakers from the worldwide and staffs of Institute for Laser Science (ILS), UEC. The workshop scopes various fields in laser science such as advanced lasers, frequency standards, ultrafast optics, quantum optics, high-energy density physics, atomic and ionic physics, and so on. The present and future will be discussed by the world-leading researchers.
We will welcome Nobel prize laureate Prof. John Hall, who is also the UEC
Distinguished Professor. This workshop is also the memorial meeting on
the retirement of the former ILS Director Prof. Ken-ichi Ueda.
Everyone is welcome to attend this workshop!
