  • Bose-Einstein condensation and atom optics

BEC

  • Atomic Interferometry

  • Single atom trap and Rydberg atoms

A trapping and manipulating of only a single or a few atoms in a optical trap allows us to study the interaction between two atoms. We have studied the highly exited Rydberg atoms in a small optical trap. As the interaction between Rydberg atoms is extremely large, we will be able to realize a quantum correlation or entanglement between two atoms.

  • Frequency stabilization of lasers and its applications

Frequency stabilized lasers are important for high resolution spectroscopy, precision measurements.
