Coherent Optical Science Seminar Announcement
Title: "Coherent Laser Spectroscopy in Electromagnetically Induced Transparency & Absorption and Hanle Signal"

Abstract: We will discuss laser spectroscopic techniques using coherent interaction between laser fields and multi-level atomic system. EIT(electromagnetically induced transparency), EIA(electromagnetically induced absorption) and Hanle signal using two coherent fields will be covered, which have been done in KNUE. Also, we will talk about some applications, which are related to coherent interactions, such as quantum information storage ( or light storage ), light slowing, superluminal light propagation and single photon detection using vapor cell.
